The Procedure

Does It Hurt?

Your comfort is a priority throughout the procedure. Sensitivity varies from person to person and depends on the area being treated and your individual pain threshold.

You may experience some discomfort or a light prickling sensation during treatment. Topical numbing products will be used to help minimise sensitivity.

Every effort is made to ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible.

Immediately After Treatment

Immediately after SMP, the treated area may appear darker or more defined than expected. Mild redness or sensitivity may also occur.

How Long Do the Results Last?

At Paramedic.Ink, I choose to work with true permanent tattoo ink rather than the semi-permanent pigments commonly used within paramedical tattooing. Although SMP is intended to be long-lasting, pigment can soften over time. Sun exposure, natural skin changes, and individual pigment retention can all influence the results, and occasional maintenance may be needed.
