If you are currently on a course of antibiotics (for the treatment of acne, the flu or infection for example) then it is best to postpone your permanent makeup procedure for another time. Why? Nothing bad can happen, but there may be pigment retention issues while healing. While on antibiotic there is a good chance that your body can perceive the pigment as something foreign and push it out of the body. This can also happen when you have hormonal problems. Therefore, always warn the artist about such nuances before booking a procedure.
